Beltane, or May Day, honors fertility, abundance, sex and the growth of everything beautiful on Earth. It marks the halfway point between spring and summer solstice.
Plant starts are beginning to leaf in NY, tomatoes are beginning to flower in North Carolina. Flowering trees and bushes are dripping exotic aromas and buzzing with bees across the country.
I’m stirring our Beltane candle, Emerald like the gemstone of May. The color of sprouts and stems of life affirming blooms like hyacinth and lily of the valley. A rich candle with a spell of spicy, hot tumeric, resinous Benzoin, sweet Rose and fresh coriander.
When you light Love in the Woods ~ meditate on The roots that are the riches feeding our real abundance.
